Emily Cullinan

“When I was little we used to do a lot of walking; we’d camp along the way to different countries. My dad was using a tjuki (digging stick) every day to help us find water. I know this country, like the way the old people that passed away before us knew it. I worked for many years teaching important stories about my country at Uluru. I met people from all over the world, and worked with park rangers and other Anangu too; everybody together. A few years ago I went to Parliament House in Canberra for a special inma (ceremonial performance.)”
