“When I was young, my dad used to take me and my brothers into the bush for finding tjala (honey ants) and hunting malu (kangaroo,) we would go the traditional way, sleeping in the sand and eating maku (witchety grubs) for snacks. My paintings have good designs in them, I look at this country and my community, and then I make the pictures.”
